Hail Salem Pet Illustration

I was super excited about this project when the client reached out wanting an illustration of his dog, Salem. He eventually wanted the design for a print or T-Shirt and wanted the illustration to mirror the style of his favorite podcast.

My first iteration used the style of the characters on the podcast logo for Salem, but the client wanted something that looked more realistic. We didn’t want to lose the dark background, so I played around with different backgrounds and outlines. The client was in love with the final result and recognized the illustration on his Reddit profile (here).
