Milwaukee Mural

A creative way to inspire good health in a personal workout room.

Problem: I was contacted by a past client of mine to create a themed mural to liven up their workout space. The theme of the mural was based around icons, sports teams, buildings, and culture that the client loves about the city of Milwaukee.

Solution: The first thing mocked-up was the layout of the mural which was done in Procreate. This consisted of not only the illustration of each individual piece, but also the over composition. The client showed a few options of other major cities that had artwork similar to the final layout with icons and buildings scattered throughout the piece. After the illustration was finalized, it was then transferred to the wall with a projector and pencil. Once the client was happy with the placement, the rest of the piece was done with acrylic paint.
